Vance Joy's debut EP God Loves You When You're Dancing is now available stateside via Atlantic Records. Vance Joy has received early U.S. critical acclaim-Entertainment Weekly explains, "the young Aussie strums like a street-corner busker, but sneaks in stadium-size hooks," while TIME hails, "his smooth and honeyed vocal style works well with the light, lively strums of his ukulele." The new recording, which recently streamed in its entirety on Paste Magazine: http://bit.ly/14ZIbkv, includes the breakout single "Riptide" that has gone double Platinum in Australia, been #1 on the Australian singles chart for 5 weeks and received airplay from BBC Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe. The latest acoustic video for "Snaggletooth" is currently streaming at American Songwriter: http://bit.ly/1g5fOql. See below for a full track list.

Vance Joy is now set to tour with Tom Odell on a U.S. run throughout October. Vance Joy has toured extensively, including support slots for Ben Howard, Of Monsters & Men, Lissie and Julia Stone.

James Keogh is the creative force behind Vance Joy. After completing a degree in law, Keogh decided to take a break to focus on music. He traveled to India and Southeast Asia with a collection of songs that all fell into place upon return. "I'm learning subtleties in my voice, understanding what I sound like and trying to embrace who I am," he says. "It wasn't rushed songwriting at all." The EP was produced by John Castle (Lior, the Drones).
