Vance Joy's debut EP God Loves You When You're Dancing will be released stateside by Atlantic Records today, September 3. The 5-song recording includes the breakout single "Riptide" which hit Australian Top 10, #1 on Hype Machine's Most Popular Chart and has been a constant in the iTunes Top 50 Singles Chart. The EP, which is now streaming in its entirety at Paste Magazine: http://bit.ly/14ZIbkv, has also received early praise from Entertainment Weekly who premiered the latest video for "Riptide": http://bit.ly/14fN8Kn and Baeble Music who explains Vance Joy "pairs his earnest voice with a Beirut-esque ukulele strum, and builds with fervent, tropical percussion that will collectively have you longing for the seashore." See below for a full track list.

Vance Joy is now set to tour with Tom Odell on a U.S. run this fall. Vance Joy has toured extensively, including support slots for Ben Howard, Of Monsters & Men, Lissie and Julia Stone. Throughout July and August Vance Joy will open for Bernard Fanning on his sold-out "Departures Tour" in Australia, in addition to a stop at this year's Splendour In The Grass and a headlining sold out Australian tour. See reverse for details.

James Keogh is the creative force behind Vance Joy. After completing a degree in law, Keogh decided to take a break to focus on music. He traveled to India and Southeast Asia with a collection of songs that all fell into place upon return. "I'm learning subtleties in my voice, understanding what I sound like and trying to embrace who I am," he says. "It wasn't rushed songwriting at all." The EP was produced by John Castle (Lior, the Drones).
