"How Dat Sound (Feat. 2 Chainz & Yo Gotti)" marks his first new release since last year's "TREMAINE THE ALBUM." The album - which followed 2014's RIAA platinum certified "TRIGGA" and its 2015 reissue, "TRIGGA RELOADED" - topped an array of charts upon its March 2017 arrival while also making a top 3 debut on the Billboard 200, fueled in part by such hits as "Song Goes Off" and the RIAA gold certified "Nobody Else But You." The latter track's companion video also proved a phenomenon, with over 41 million individual views via Youtube alone.

Named "Best R&B/Soul Male Artist" at the 2014 SOUL TRAIN Awards, Trey Songz is the undisputed master of modern R&B, blending pop, hip-hop, and soul into his own unique sound and vision. "TRIGGA," his sixth and most previous studio collection, entered the Billboard 200 at #1, as did its 2012 predecessor, the RIAA gold certified blockbuster, "CHAPTER V."

With total sales now in excess of 20 million albums and singles (including such RIAA platinum certified hits as "Heart Attack," "Na Na," and "Slow Motion"), Songz is also an enterprising entrepreneur and gifted actor. Among his film and TV work are 2013's Texas Chainsaw 3D and Baggage Claim, the latter co-starring Paula Patton and Taye Diggs.
