One of the great poets of our times has left the building and we farewell him with a very special celebration of his songs. This is a chance to say so long to Leonard, and to once again feel the way his words and music stir our souls.

The show will see some of Australia's finest artists singing Cohen songs that we know and love, including The Church's Steve Kilbey. The double inductee in the ARIA Hall of Fame and in the Australian Songwriters Hall of Fame describes Cohen as "A master of melancholia and understatement, always more implied than stated".

Also performing will be Jack Ladder, Holiday Sidewinder (Bridezilla), Broads (Kelly Day and Jane Hendry) and Elana Stone (All Our Exes Live in Texas), with Lindsay 'The Doctor' McDougall (of Double & Triple J and Frenzal Rhomb), all joined by a choir put together especially for the night by Christina Mimmocchi.

With his resonant baritone and boundless charisma, acclaimed Cohen interpreter Mikelangelo will guide us through the final visionary album, You Want It Darker, along with other Cohen gems, accompanied by a stunning handpicked band, Spectres of Love (Michaela Davies (El Dinero) on bass & vocals and AJ True (Zombie Ghost Train) on drums & vocals) as the engine room of the band for Tower of Song.

This will be a night to remember as we send our beloved poet and songman, Leonard Cohen, into the great beyond.
