Today, Swedish duo Karl X Johan have released the stream of a brand new single, and first since 2014, "Twisted Up." The track premiered with The Line of Best Fit today HERE.

Describing the track and their process, Karl X Johan share: "We've made a lot of music since 'A Better Tomorrow' in 2014. Or a lot of different versions of a few songs to be exact. That's how we usually work. Always setting out to make a great departure from our previous single and slowly frustrating ourselves in not being able to fully realize a vision. But then from time to time we get it right. It's sad that we only end up with one finished song after so many hours, days, weeks and years. But we take what we can get. Getting it right once in a while is still worth it. So here's some Koh Phangan beach party music for you."

"Twisted Up" is Karl X Johan's first release since 2014's "A Better Tomorrow," which follows in line with their slow but top-quality release timeline dotted but a new track every couple years -- "Never Leave Me" (2013), "Get It All" (2012), and "Flames" (2010), whose stunning official video won a Swedish Grammy for best video of the year (worth a look: http://youtu.be/p8I1TQmW75U).

Based in Stockholm, Karl X Johan (Johan Tuvesson and Kalle Jönsson) have sustained an enigmatic aura while continuing to captivate with each successive release with precisely poignant production work and vocal melodic mastery.
