Steve Aoki & Quintino Create MAYHEM On New Single

2x Grammy-nominated producer/DJ Steve Aoki creates electronic "Mayhem" alongside Quintino on their latest collaborative single, premiered today on Billboard. Big room kicks, electric synths and heavy bass collide into a turbulent earthquake of sound, spawning an energetic main stage staple. "Mayhem" is the first single from Aoki's '5OKI' campaign, which consists of five collaborative single releases and accompanying music videos, coming out over five consecutive weeks on Dim Mak. Each single in the 5OKI campaign marks a return to the big room, electro house sound that established Aoki as an international festival force.
Leading with an illustration designed by pop-surrealist Nicky Barkla, the cover art for all the singles mirror movie posters, keeping in the same vein as the theatrically-inspired music videos. The official "Mayhem" music video is shot in the style of a movie trailer, starring Steve Aoki and Quintino. With the concert scenes filmed live at The Armory in Minneapolis when Quintino joined Aoki's Kolony US Tour, the visual tells the story of two touring musicians whose tour bus breaks down, leaving them stranded in the snow. As a mysterious, shapeshifting figure stalks in the shadows, the video progresses with both Aoki and Quintino fighting for their lives in an attempt to make it to their gig.
At a young age, Quintino was discovered by house music mastermind Laidback Luke who was impressed by Quintino's precision and unrivaled the turntables. Quintino will always bring good vibes and a lot of energy with his sets. After conquering the Dutch club scene, the young DJ started making big steps. In 2011, Quintino released "Epic" with Sandro Silva which became platinum. This was the start his successful international DJ career. Since then, Quintino's club bangers have been played all over the world. In the past two years, Quintino released major hits like "Freak" and "I Just Can't" together with fellow Dutchman R3hab, which both passed 40 million streams, followed up by great collaborations with Cheat Codes & Nervo. 2017 was a great year for Quintino. He dominated the dancefloors with his solo club tracks "Underground", "Carnival" and his GO HARDER EP series. On top of that, he dropped an exciting new tune with his solo release "Good Vibes." And last but not least, he teamed up with Hardell again for a remix of J. Balvin & Willy William's "Mi Gente," a follow up on their earlier collaborations "Scorpion" and "Baldadig." Today, Quintino has over 200 international gigs a year and became an acknowledged headliner at the biggest festivals and club shows worldwide like Tomorrowland, Ultra, Sunrise Festival, Dreambeach Festival, EDC and many more. He is currently ranked at #30 on the list. Quintino is not planning on slowing down any time soon.
