Produced by Rob Graves (Halestorm, Red) and mixed by Ben Grosse (Breaking Benjamin, Filter), VESSELS--the new album from American cinematic rock outfit STARSET out tomorrow, January 20 (Razor & Tie)--is taking the band to new heights. Featuring songs "Monster," "Back To The Earth" and "Ricochet," the album is a data-stream rendered in sound, escaping the gravity of formula radio rock and further embedding the band into far reaches of online spaces. STARSET is on a unique path in terms of digital exposure, amassing an overall view count on YouTube from official videos--including those for first single "Monster" and "Ricochet" with its unique 360 degree lyric video--along with user-generated content, at approximately 620 million views, increasing by 1.5 million views per day.
VESSELS will be available for purchase via digital and physical retailers nationwide TOMORROW, January 20. In support of VESSELS, STARSET officially launch their U.S. headlining tour with a hometown record release show in Columbus, Ohio tomorrow (January 20). The four-week outing, featuring direct support from Gemini Syndrome, will take front man Dustin Bates and his helmeted-and-pressure-suited crew--bassist Ron DeChant, guitarist Brock Richards and drummer Adam Gilbert--across the country, stopping in such cities as Chicago, Denver, Spokane, Reno, Scottsdale, Dallas, Houston, Baton Rouge, Baltimore and Pittsburgh, with a Los Angeles show at The Roxy confirmed for January 31. With over 300 shows logged to date, STARSET has distinguished themselves touring with the likes of Breaking Benjamin and In This Moment, playing major U.S. rock festivals and four sold-out performances in planetariums, becoming the first rock band to play live in the full dome entertainment environment. This spring, the band will return to Welcome To Rockville, Fort Rock, Carolina Rebellion, Northern Invasion and Rock On the Range, following their 2015 debut at all five of the annual rock events. Tickets for all dates are on sale now; see below for full tour routing.DATE |
