Singer/Songwriter Joseph Lorenzo Wise Releases 'Christmas Again' Single

2015 has been a great year for Joseph Lorenzo Wise. He landed a plum role in the NATE REUSS short film "THE GRAND ROMANTIC", where he plays a Vocal Coach to the two time Grammy Winner and his comedic and vocal talents are on display. The film is directed by 2015 One Screen winner, Best Director Anthony Mandler.

"The night I filmed at Nate's multi-million dollar Hollywood Hills mansion was a thrill. It was lights, action, camera.....'Hollywood'," says Wise.

"CHRISTMAS AGAIN" an original Christmas Classic, lyrics by Joseph L. Wise and music by Joseph L. Wise and Cody T. Gillete is Wise's latest release. Wise and Gillette scored a CD BABY No. 1 hit with "AMEN" on the California Pop chart and No. 5 on Traditional Gospel.

In February he released "TRAIN" a music video tribute to "On the 20th Century" as the revival opened on Broadway. Joseph is the only remaining Porter from the original Four Porters. In the summer he released another music video "On the Boulevard" which boasts a celebrity appearance by BOULEVARD screenwriter Douglas Soesbe who penned the script for Robin Williams final screen performance.

Wise has also performed all year as a featured soloist at The Founder's Center For Spiritual Living, in Los Angeles, where he has performed a wide repertoire of music, and has plans to release a full CD of live performances in 2016.

Joseph Lorenzo says "CHRISTMAS AGAIN is a song about healing. After the tragedies in Paris and San Bernadino, Cody and I wanted to take all that negative energy and transform it into a powerful jam of a Christmas song. Cody and his wife are French, and own an apartment in Paris, three blocks away from where the horrible terrorist attacks took place. Fortunately, his family was in the south of France on holiday when the events took place. Even so, shaken to the core, is about right."

"When I think back on watching Betty Comden and Adolph Green work, it tickles me because Cody and I have that "thing" they had, Wise explains. "I sent Cody the lyrics and a ruff vocal of the song and he adored it. The song helped to lift him up out of the depression that came with the news from France", he joyfully declares. Words and music are a powerful healing agent and Cody and Joseph have poured their hearts into CHRISTMAS AGAIN. "The song has a lot of different influences because we wanted to reach out to the World."
