"On A Liquid Afternoon" is Robyn Spangler's debut release. The CD draws from various styles and composers having a mix of not only standard musical theatre and jazz faire but also a little country and even some Motown sound. "For the first CD, I sang not only new material but also songs that have been with me a long time" says Spangler.

On A Liquid Afternoon includes the original tunes, You're Free, I'm Gone, Live from Unbeatable: A Bold New Musical, and Every Time I Look At You I Fall In Love Again as well as songs by John Bucchino, Duke Ellington and Paul Simon.

Robyn's producer and musical director on the project, Todd Schroeder, made it all work. "That's what is great about working with Todd. He's open to anything and will make sure it sounds terrific and is fun in the process." The result is ‘out-of-the-box' arrangements with his ‘in-the-pocket' piano licks. Rounding out the impressive talent pool is Kevin Fisher on the guitar, Robert Kyle on saxophone and backup vocals by Wendy Tuttle.

Robyn, who has been singing professionally since she was 17, has sung everything from telegrams to Carnegie Hall. If it involves singing she is involved. The CD is available on Amazon, CD Baby and downloadable on itunes. For more information go to: www.robynspangler.com
