Pop Group Blue to Join PROFESSIONALS ON ICE in Nottingham, April 27
THE PROFESSIONALS ON ICE are delighted to announce a very special guest appearance by BLUE singing their new single HURT LOVERS as well as some of their greatest hits. Blue will be performing at the first live show of THE PROFESSIONALS ON ICE at the Capital FM Arena in Nottingham this Saturday 27 April.
Blue are one of the most successful British acts of the last decade, and are also appearing in the sold-out Nottingham date of The Big Reunion tour. The band has sold more than 15 million albums worldwide, with all three of the band's studio albums having reached the Number 1 slot. Blue have also toured virtually every country in the world and performed live with, amongst others, Sir Elton John and Stevie Wonder.
For the first time ever, the professional skaters who appear in ITV's Dancing on Ice, will star in their own ice skating show, THE PROFESSIONALS ON ICE, and will be demonstrating their breathtaking skills on a national tour. The audience will be dazzled by national and world champions, many of whom are previous Dancing on Ice winners, as they prove their prowess with hair-raising headbangers, daring double salchows and sensational split twist lifts.
THE PROFESSIONALS ON ICE has been in the making for the past year and is a response to public demand, as there were many people who were disappointed that they could not get a ticket for the 2013 Dancing on Ice tour, due to it being cancelled. The show will feature many of the previous Dancing on Ice winners, along with many of the viewers' other favourite skaters from the current and previous series (subject to availability): Matt Evers, Frankie (Poultney), Sylvain Longchambon, Maria Filippov, Mark Hanretty, Jodeyne Higgins, Sean Rice, Andy Buchanan, Robin Johnstone, Lukasz Rozycki, Alexandra Schauman and Vicky Ogden.
THE PROFESSIONALS ON ICE will be a spectacular combination of high adrenaline action, hit music and dazzling skill suitable for all the family, with special prices for the under 16s.
THE PROFESSIONALS ON ICE is created and directed by previous Dancing on Ice winner Matt Evers, with original choreography by The Professionals themselves, and is produced by Suzanne Shaw and The Ice Pros (2013) Limited.
The show is not affiliated with ITV or Dancing on Ice.
