STG announces the 15th annual More Music @ The Moore Auditions, to be held at The Vera Project on February 1-3, 2016 from 4-9 pm each day.

STG is seeking exceptional musicians ages 14-21 to audition for More Music @ The Moore, a young artist development program where selected musicians/groups have the opportunity to learn from music industry leaders and work with world-class drummer, percussionist, and all around notable Music Director Sheila E. The program culminates with two live performances at The Moore Theatre on May 6, 2016.

All music styles are welcome, and those interested in a music career and with original compositions are especially encouraged to audition. For more info and to sign up for an audition visit stgpresents.org/education/more-music. Those interested must sign up no later than January 25, 2016. For more information, visit stgpresents.org.

MORE MUSIC @ THE MOORE is a young artist development program for selected young musicians representing diverse music genres. The program provides young artists training and rehearsal time with professional musicians, production and promotional support, and the opportunity to perform at a professional venue, The Moore Theatre. Artists are selected through an audition process. More Music @ The Moore will be streamed live to sick children and teens in hospitals by non-profit organization Melodic Caring Project, one of STG's valued community partners. If you are interested in being part of the program, email us now.

STG's mission is to make diverse performing arts and education an integral part of our region's cultural identity while keeping three historic venues, The Paramount, Moore and Neptune, alive and vibrant. STG presents a range of performances from Broadway, off-Broadway, dance and jazz, to comedy, concerts of all genres, speakers and family shows - at these three iconic theatres in Seattle and venues throughout the Puget Sound region and in Portland, Oregon.
