Magnolia North Releases First Single, “Going Where,” From Debut Album

Magnolia North has released the first single, "Going Where," off the debut album. The project was formed in a remote cabin in Coal Creek Canyon, Colorado and focuses on their shared experience of building friendship and love. Magnolia North will be celebrating the release of their first album on November 30th at Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver, CO. As an introduction they are offering a free download of the single "Going Where."

"Check out this pre-release from Magnolia North; what a killer album," stated Magnolia North electric guitar whiz, James Dumm. "I am so honored to be a part of this project. I call it "future folk."

"It's hard to imagine anyone from Trout Steak Revival having "spare time" to be involved with other recording projects, but string slinger Steve Foltz has somehow done just that," states Minnesota Public Radio Program Director, Mike Pengra. "Get this new music when it is released, you'll be glad you did!"

The debut album is a collection of songs that were co-written by husband and wife creative team of Steve Foltz (Trout Steak Revival) and Jennifer Middleton and recorded with a collaboration of talented musicians who are actively involved in other music groups and projects making this a unique project similar to a "super group." Individuals involved in recording include Lindsay Lou (Vocals, Lindsay Lou), Melissa McGinley (Fiddle,300 Days), Kevin Finn (Drums, Zephaniah O'Hara), Zach Jackson (Bass, Mama Magnolia), Andy Goessling (Clarinet, Railroad Earth), Ben Waligoske (Lap Steel, King Cardinal), James Dumm (Electric Guitar, Fox Street Allstars), and Sarah Clanton (Cello, Sarah Clanton Music).
