Two-time GRAMMY award winning songstress Lalah Hathaway recently announced lalah hathaway LIVE!, the live concert recording for her seventh album, which is scheduled to release in the fall. The intimate concert event will be held tonight, April 21st at the legendary Troubadour Theater in Los Angeles, CA.

Hosting this recording at the Troubadour is significant for Lalah because it is where her father, iconic soul singer Donny Hathaway, recorded half of his classic 1972 offering Live. She says, "I have aspired to the greatness of Donny Hathaway Live my entire life. This is an amazing full circle moment for me!"

A limited amount of tickets for lalah hathaway LIVE! are available to the public and can be purchased at www.ticketfly.com/purchase/event/815637.

In addition to planning for the recording and release of lalah hathaway LIVE!, Lalah will perform on the 2015 Black Girls Rock! special, appearing alongside Tracee Ellis Ross, Regina King, First Lady Michelle Obama, Cicely Tyson, Ava Duvernay, Jada Pinkett Smith, Fantasia, Faith Evans and more. Black Girls Rock! premieres on BET on Sunday, April 5th at 7PM ET / PT.
