Country singer/songwriter Kaitlyn Baker's "Coal Train" is now available as a digital download, following the song's recent inclusion in the 2015 ACM Awards ZinePak.

The ZinePak, a magazine and 2-CD compilation featuring songs by country superstars and emerging artists, was released exclusively at Walmart stores. The project debuted at #4 on Billboard's Top Country Album Chart, where it remained in the Top 10 in its category for three consecutive weeks.

"We were always planning to put 'Coal Train' on my own EP, but the ACM Awards ZinePak brought it some unexpected attention, so we decided to release it as a single," Baker said. "I am honored that the ACM and ZinePak cofounders Brittany Hodak and Kim Kaupe liked my song enough to include it in their project."

Inspired by the closing of coal mines around Baker's hometown of Pound, Virginia, "Coal Train" is about a young man who leaves home in search of a better life. The music video can be seen here: https://youtu.be/D3mLivBoSnM.

"Southwestern Virginia is only producing about half the amount of coal it did 10 years ago," Baker said. "The economic impact has been devastating. A lot of people have lost their jobs. For some people, that means moving away to find work."

Baker's other single, "Burn," is also available on iTunes and is receiving airplay on a growing number of radio stations.

"Coal Train" and "Burn" are available at https://itunes.apple.com/us/artist/kaitlyn-baker/id892384616 as well as on Amazon and Google Play.
