Howardian 'Do You Know I Wiggle' LP Streaming in Full via BrooklynVegan

Ian Vanek, formerly of art-punk duo Japanther, is releasing his third full-length as Howardian, titled Do You Know I Wiggle. Currently streaming in full via BrooklynVegan, Vanek's fusion of lo-fi garage fuzz, technical poly-rhythms, and hip-hop influence continues to satisfy curious Japanther fans and new listeners alike. On the creation of the new album, Vanek reflects:

"Do You Know I Wiggle was recorded in close collaboration with Schuyler Maehl in South Chicago summer 2016. A host of other artist contributed to the strange blues psych recording. Howardian continues to elude genres by collaborating with incredible musicians and artist from all over the untied states. This record is the result of experimenting with DMT and free form writing in deep depressive states."

Do You Know I Wiggle unearths the New York City group in a mystical, street savvy, art rock world that feels simultaneously familiar and new. Cooled out vocals and lively percussive beats unearth riotous songs great for both travel and dance. Do You Know I Wiggle is available 10/14 on Tick Tock Records and Let's Pretend.

Howardian will also be heading out on a US-wide tour supporting the album.
