Hanson wants their fans to know that they were in their minds when they wrote their newest album 'Anthem' Billboard reports. Taylor Hanson said 'It's got a lot of big sounding songs...We really thought of the audience when we did them - we imagined the interaction with the crowd.'

The brotherly trio, long gone from the days of 'MMM Bop', revealed that they wrote and produced the entire album themselves. They maintain that even though its a fun album with a modern sound, don't be surprised if there are a few throwbacks in there as well.

The group released the first single off 'Anthem' back on April 9th, titled 'Get the Girl Back.' The single features Joe Karnes from Fitz and the Tantrums as well as lead vocalist Michael Fitzpatrick. Jerry Hey provides additional Horn arrangements for the album.

Hanson is getting ready to celebrate their 21st anniversary together as a band. A feat that is amazing nowadays, no doubt helped by the fact the trio are brothers. Also they are getting ready to release their Hanson branded beer, fittingly named 'MMMhops.'

'MMMbop' is featured in the opening sequence of the movie 'The Hangover: Part III' hitting theaters this weekend.
