HANNAH WICKLUND & THE STEPPIN STONES--fronted by 20-year-old powerhouse guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Hannah Wicklund--today (10/26) announced their new full-length, self-titled album. Produced by Sadler Vaden, guitarist for Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit, the album will be released on January 26, 2018.
The official music video for the project's lead single, "Bomb Through The Breeze," premiered yesterday (10/25) on GuitarPlayer.com where the magazine's Editor-In-Chief Michael Molenda noted last month, "...Wicklund is not simply a shredder or a tonal colorist -though she certainly has chops and can go for some buzzy and less-than-organic sounds. What's impressive to me is how she uses her custom Tom Anderson guitar and Orange half-stack to drive the emotional context of her songs with a combination of spiky rhythms, slow lines, fast runs, and cagey riffs. It all adds up to a thrilling ride."(September 13, 2017)Click here to watch the strong music video, in which the band's dynamic performance is interlaced with striking visual effects."Bomb Through A Breeze"
