FRANCES ENGLAND'S 'Blink of an Eye' Out 8/6

The long wait is over! Award-winning, San Francisco-based family recording artist Frances England looks ahead with pride to the August 6 release of her greatly anticipated, fourth CD for kids and families, Blink of an Eye ($13.99, for ages 5 - 12, run time 28 minutes).

Showcasing eleven Frances England originals and produced by Grammy winner Dean Jones, Blink of an Eye features guest appearances by kindie music luminaries Elizabeth Mitchell, Caspar Babypants, Morgan Taylor (Gustafer Yellowgold), and Molly Ledford (Lunch Money).

Critics have been effusive in their praise for Frances England's body of work. Fascinating Creatures was the sole recording to win the 2007 Oppenheim Platinum Music Award. Two years later, AOL named the album one of the Top Ten Children's CDs of the Decade. Family Tree was honored with the prestigious Parents' Choice Gold Award and NAPPA Gold Award, was included among the Best Children's CDs of the Decade by Time Out NY Kids, and was named Album of the Year by About.com, which called it "The most perfect family CD of 2008."
