Familiar Looking Strangers grew up in the true English home of rock and roll, Liverpool, England. They played the Liverpool scene heavily in their early years including performances at the birthplace of The Beatles, The Cavern Club. Following the release of their full-length studio album Love, Hate And Heartbreak in 2012 (stream here), the group is set to release their new self-titled EP on June 10th via the Grafton, WI-based imprint KNE.

The EP boasts five infectious tracks that mix Americana roots-rock and blues with British pop sensibilities, and features their new single "SaturdayNight." Having recently shared the stage with an eclectic array of great acts such as Hawkwind, Sheryl Crow, Young Dubliners and Phil Vassar, among others, The Strangers will be invading our shores later this month for a summer long tour of the U.S. in support of their new EP and will also be road-testing material from their forthcoming sophomore studio album, due later this year.
