Ella Vos Debuts YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT ME, ACLU Remix Featuring Icona Pop, Mija and Vérité

Rising star Ella Vos debuts a very special remix of her hit "You Don't Know About Me" today featuring Icona Pop, Mija and Vérité-listen here via PAPER. In light of the recent Supreme Court ruling on the Masterpiece Cakeshop case regarding LGBTQ equality and discrimination, all proceeds from the remix will benefit the ACLU.

"I wrote 'You Don't Know About Me' to fight not only sexism, but homophobia, racism, bigotry and xenophobia," says Ella Vos. "When I heard about Charlie and Dave, the couple who were turned away from the Masterpiece Cakeshop, I was infuriated. No one should have to suffer discrimination and pain because of who they choose to love. I, along with Icona Pop, Vérité, and Mija, are donating all proceeds from 'You Don't Know About Me (Remix)' to the ACLU foundation because we believe in equal opportunity and freedom from discrimination."

"You Don't Know About Me" is taken from Vos' much-lauded debut album Words I Never Said, also featuring Vos' Spotify-viral hits "White Noise" and "Down in Flames." The album, released last fall, showcases Vos' honest and illuminating songwriting discussing young motherhood, post-partum depression, women's reproductive rights and more.

Los Angeles native Ella Vos writes pop with a fierce feminist perspective. With more than 140 million streams on Spotify to date, Ella Vos has been praised from the likes of Rolling Stone, HuffPost, NYLON, The Coveteur and many more, and her songs have soundtracked ABC's "Grey's Anatomy," MTV's "Catfish," E!'s "Life of Kylie" and The CW's "The Originals."
