Diane Coffee Premieres New Song 'Like A Child Does'

Diane Coffee, the pop project of former Foxygen drummer Shaun Fleming, shared his new single "Like A Child Does" today; the exuberant track will appear on his new album Internet Arms, out April 19 on Polyvinyl Record Co. Fleming says "Like A Child Does" is "about acting out and the chaos it creates. When humans live in a state of denial about their behavior and choose to live out the same loop over and over again, at some point a breakdown is inevitable. The breakdown can be a powerful growing moment: you either see yourself and make a change or fall back into the loop." Flood, who premiered the song, write, "Concealed behind the electronic pop soundtrack and Coffee's harmonizing falsetto, lies the conflict addressed throughout Internet Arms, an internal conflict so often agitated by the freedom of personality technology increasingly permits."

Internet Arms is out April 19 on Polyvinyl and also includes the previously released single "Not Ready To Go." The album is available for pre-order in physical and digital format.
