Los Angeles' female power duo Deap Vally unleash their gritty new single "Royal Jelly" with VICE's Noisey. Produced by Yeah Yeah Yeahs guitarist Nick Zinner, the track is viscous and heavy, bringing their rock 'n' roll roots to the forefront. As Lindsey Troy and Julie Edwards put it, "It's a song that takes its time, but the pay-off is great. It's definitely one of the funkiest songs on our upcoming new record."

In celebration, Deap Vally also reveal the accompanying video featuring designer/model/fashion icon Georgia May Jagger. Directed by visual artist Jess Holzworth, the "Royal Jelly" video features far-out face and body paint by make-up visionary Isamaya Ffrench and is a celebration of strong, creative women. Fun fact: Julie was five months pregnant when the video was shot!

Deap Vally released their debut album Sistrionix in 2013 that received critical praise from the likes of Rolling Stone, SPIN, NME, The Guardian + more and was revered for its garage punk brutalism. With a new record in the works for 2016, be sure to stay tuned for more!
