Singer, songwriter and producer Kerli is partnering with PledgeMusic to independently launch her new album. She boasts two previous releases through Island Def Jam and a track record of chart-topping EDM collaborations with the likes of Seven Lions and SNBRN

The PledgeMusic campaign begins on December 14, 2015 and Kerli's first single is slated for release to the public on January 29, 2016. Another single will follow in the spring, one in summer, and the full album will be released in early fall. Those who pre-order the single and album will receive their copies before street date and every pre-order of a single includes an acoustic version of the song as well as audio commentary from Kerli on the song.

Fans will also be able to bundle the music with a number of hand-picked and personalized offerings to elevate their interaction with the music. These may include collectables such as autographed lyrics, a jewelry bundle of jewelry worn in the artwork, and a personalized thank you card from Kerli, herself. Every pre-order will include an Access Pass, which will give fans access to exclusive behind-the-scenes videos and special updates on the record, and more.

The journey to this point represents a full circle in many ways for Kerli who was signed by music impresario LA Reid, and in 2008, released her debut release, Love is Dead on Island Def Jam Records and introduced to the world this unconventional hyper-stylized super-star talent from Estonia.

In 2013, Kerli's follow up, Utopia, was released and between the two release she boasted two #1 Billboard dance hits, with her smash "Army of Love" hitting #1 on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Songs and "The Lucky Ones" - the lead single from 'Utopia' - landing at #1 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play Chart. In between she was tapped to contribute songs for the soundtracks of Tim Burton's Frankenweenie and Alice In Wonderland, She also found success as a song-writer, penning "Skyscraper," sung by Demi Lovato, that became not only a career highlight for Demi, but had a second life as the coveted Christmas #1 in the UK when covered by X-Factor victor Sam Bailey.

Her last album was heavily influenced by the sounds of the burgeoning EDM movement, collaborations within the growing genre was a natural progression. Billboard named her writing and vocal production on the 2014 collaboration with Seven Lions one of the "Top 10 Best Electronic/Dance Songs of the Year," while her 2015 team-up with SNBRN "Raindrops" has garnered over 17 million streams on Spotify and fueled a Buzzfeed video with over 31 million views to date.

Feeling the need to reconnect with her roots and embark on a path she felt was more authentic to herself, Kerli left Los Angeles at the beginning of 2015 and returned to her birthplace of Estonia. She sought solitude and the mythical tranquility that could only circulate throughout the lush forested landscapes amongst the animals, plants, and energies under the Eastern European moon where she first found inspiration as a child.

In talking about her move, Kerli says, "I was working towards setting myself completely free. I didn't just go into the forest for a photo shoot; I actually lived there, and I made music there. I made it a goal to release fear and become a completely authentic version of myself. There's no separation anymore between who I am and what I create." The music that come out of that journey is more personal than anything else she has ever done, and she expects her fans will notice the difference.
