Clara Mae Releases Sophomore Single 'I Forgot' – Out Now!
Sweden-based singer/songwriter Clara Mae - burst onto the scene last year with her debut single, "I'm Not Her". Today, she's returns with an addictive second single, "I Forgot" - out now via Big Beat Records - LISTEN. The track showcases Clara's signature seductive vocals, carried away by raw and relatable lyrics, over a distinctive blend of electronic beats and pop melodies.
After spending years studying jazz vocals, piano and writing music in her small town of Gävle, Sweden, Clara Mae garnered attention as a co-write for dignified producers, David Guetta, Tiesto and Martin Jensen. An introduction to Norwegian-based producer duo KREAM later led to a feature (and co-write credit) on their viral track "Taped Up Heart" (LISTEN HERE) which celebrates 90 million streams worldwide!
Clara pivots her focus now to writing for herself - discovering the importance of her lyrics being used to tell her story. "I Forgot", draws from that moment when you see an ex for the first time in a while, and all the feelings seem to rush back at once, and for a second, you forgot why you broke up in the first place, but then the realization sets in, and the moment passes.
