Chuck Murphy releases 'Peace Be With You' EP & Joins Ultimate Vocal Music Summit

Having just released his "Peace Be With You" EP, Chuck Murphy (www.chuckmurphy.net) is teaming up with the Ultimate Vocal Music Summit (www.ultimatevocalmusicsummit.com) to pay it forward with young aspiring musicians through education.

Murphy is proud to participate in the Ultimate Vocal Music Summit, being held October 7-9, 2016, at Summit sponsoring partner Center Staging (http://www.centerstaging.com), where he will be performing and delivering a workshop about the nuances and flavors of folk/Americana/country music.

The Ultimate Vocal Music Summit was founded by veteran composer-producer Dawn Elder, who united her A-list of music collaborators and friends in mission to help pay it forward to aspiring artists. They launched the Summit in 2015 as a way to create personalized workshops that are carefully crafted to offer young singer-songwriters and aspiring artists direction in their careers by providing mentorship, vocal and music industry coaching, songwriting, performance and production; giving students the tools to have long successful careers.

The EPis a labor of love for Murphy and co-producer Jeff Silverman, Palette Music Studio Productions (www.palettemusic.net). A remix of the title track, co-produced and arranged by Silverman, has been submitted for consideration for the 59 th Grammy Awards. Murphy's band, Big Coyote, has put love and passion into this project with every note they have played.

Murphy has already won several awards for the songs on the new EP and he has had three #1 hits on SoundCloud with over 22 million listens to his song, Falling Star. Murphy has had two songs go to #1 on two independent charts, and has a third song, Cowgirls, currently top-3 and rising.
