Castlecomer Announces Tour with Magic Giant, Kicking off January 2019

After wrapping up this fall's ALT Nation Tourwith Big Data earlier this week, Sydney, Australia's rising alternative band Castlecomerhas announced that they are hitting the road early in 2019, this time with Magic Giant. The tour kicks off on January 23rd in Phoenix, AZ and winds its way through the South and Midwest before heading down the West Coast, wrapping up in San Francisco, CA on March 1st. Tickets are on sale now! Castlecomer, who made a huge impression at SXSW in 2017, will be returning to the Austin, TX festival in March 2019.

Castlecomer released their self-titled debut full-length LP on October 5th, 2018 via Concord Records - the record, which was recorded primarily in Sydney with producers Adrian Breakspear (Gang of Youths) and Jean-Paul Fung (Jet, Silverchair) and mastered by Joe LaPorta (The Weeknd, The Killers, Foo Fighters), is chock full of contagious, hypnotizing anthems, six of which have been placed on major playlists at Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music. Leading the way are the aforementioned "Fire Alarm," which hit #6 on the Global Viral Chart and now has racked up almost 7 million plays and single "All of the Noise," which got the remix treatment from touring mate Big Data, listen now!
In addition to the announcement of new dates with Magic Giant and SXSW in the US, the band is also set for two homecoming album release shows in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia this December.
