Aftermath Entertainment teen singing sensation, Cam Anthony, will take the stage at Chene Park Amphitheatre in Detroit this weekend, as opening act at Motown Artist KEM's shows on Friday, June 24 and Saturday, June 25. Friday's show (with special guest, Lalah Hathaway) is a sell-out; tickets for Saturday's show (with special guest, Avery Sunshine) are available at Ticketmaster and at the Chene Park Box Office.

The exceptionally-talented Cam Anthony will hit the Chene Park stage at 8:00pm on both nights. The 14-year-old has amazed many fans and music industry professionals with his natural, soulful R&B talent.

"Are you serious?! That's incredible!" exclaimed Cam, after learning he would be opening for KEM this weekend. Cam continued: "I'm so excited for the opportunity to perform for everyone in Detroit, and to sing on the same stage as KEM, Lalah Hathaway and Avery Sunshine is such an honor, and kind of mind-blowing at the same time. I can't wait!"

Cam Anthony and KEM share the same Detroit-based artist management team, Project Producers, which is owned by music manager, Toya Hankins. Since he has been working with Project Producers, Cam has been on an accelerated course in artist development, including: developing new music; shooting full-length professional music videos; studio sessions with industry-leading producers; performances & appearances; photo shoots; media training sessions and vocal & choreography lessons.

"We're thrilled to introduce Cam Anthony and his exceptional talents to all of our friends and fans in Detroit," said Hankins. "Cam has such a raw natural talent and his vocals are so soulful and versatile. He has an innate and seemingly effortless ability to take a note, phrase or song and give it his own unique character. We're encouraging everyone coming to the shows this weekend to arrive early to enjoy a real musical treat!"

Cam Anthony recently released his first full-length conceptual music video, an original rendition of the One Direction song, "If I Could Fly." The video can be viewed on the DreamWorksTV YouTube channel playlist, "Songs That Stick" here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n12n6HX727U.Cam's original version of "If I Could Fly" was arranged and produced by legendary producer, Rex Rideout (Luther Vandross/Mary J. Blige/Ledisi/KEM/Angie Stone/etc.).

"I've worked with some of the best vocalists in music," said legendary music producer and A&R executive Rideout. "Cam, who is not even 15 years old yet, has the focus, the instinct and most importantly, the emotion of singers who are twice his age. When he sings, he's not just copying someone else...the soul in his voice is surprisingly authentic. Pretty amazing!!!"
