Brian Pharaoh Releases First Single, 'Sorry,' from Upcoming CD

It's been called the "Breakup Anthem of 2016." Country music singer/songwriter, Brian Pharaoh, has released "Sorry," the humorous first single from his forthcoming CD.

A lyric video is available for "Sorry," which was inspired by an actual breakup that Pharaoh experienced in college.

"Well, I was hangin' out with this girl quite a bit in college and she had this real nice truck," Pharaoh explains. "One time, she loaned me her truck and some buddies and I went out and met some other girls. Needless to say, I ended up losing the girl ... and the keys to a really sharp truck."

Fans are invited to take to social media to share their own photos or stories about the breakups they don't regret. Pharaoh will draw for winners of several free subscriptions to the matchmaking site, eHarmony, in order to find, as Brian says, "someone they won't be sorry to find." To participate, fans should use the hashtag, #NotSoSorrySong to share a photo, story, or simply to say "I'm happy to be single." Several Country radio stations will participate in the contest as well, with multiple prizes to be awarded nationwide.

Brian is not quite a newcomer to the Country Music scene. He released a debut CD, Getting' My Feet Wet, in 2003, but life had other things in store. A military reservist, Brian's platoon was activated, and he found himself headed to the Middle East. He's been deployed multiple times and served eagerly. Despite life's distractions, Brian continued to fill notebooks with songs and ideas, knowing that one day he would return to the pursuit of music.

Brian has been in the studio and is putting the final touches on a new album for 2016. Recorded in Nashville, the project includes the tongue-in-cheek single, "Sorry." The song is available on iTunes.

Hailing from Pharaoh, Oklahoma; a small town named after his great grandfather, Brian grew up surrounded by cattle, hay fields, oil pumps and good people. "You could say that life is lived like a colorful, country song in my hometown," Brian says.
