Boosie Badazz Releases Highly Anticipated 'Boopac'

Trill Entertainment/Atlantic Recording Artist BOOSIE BADAZZ has released his epic new album, BOOPAC. The highly anticipated collection arrives today. Download/stream the album here. He's been seen on BET's 12 Days of Boosie series where he shared intimate tidbits each day with fans. Check out BET's Instagram story today to hang out with Boosie as he takes over in celebration of release day.

BOOPAC arrives two years after 2015's TOUCH DOWN 2 CAUSE HELL. The album debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200. A series of acclaimed mixtapes announced Boosie's continued power, but the milestone BOOPAC firmly cements his place in the pantheon. The 24-track collection boasts only five guests - Anthony Hamilton, B. Will, Yung Bleu, London Jae, and Lee Banks - thus shining a spotlight on Boosie Badazz like never before.

The news of BOOPAC's imminent arrival drew wide-ranging media attention upon its announcement last month, with HotNewHipHop declaring, "We might very well be looking at Boosie's magnum opus."BOOPAC was preceded last month by the album's first official single, "God Wants Me To Ball (Feat. London Jae)," available to download/stream here. The track is joined by a new companion visual, now boasting over 2.5 million views via YouTube alone, watch here.

Further video releases followed, including "Webbie I Remember" and "Me, Myself & I."

In addition, Boosie recently unleashed a visual entitled "America's Most Wanted," watch here. Directed by longtime collaborator Joe Yung Spike, the clip offers "a detailed account with (Boosie's) issues with the law," says HotNewHipHop, "drawing experiences that he faced in recent times prior to his freedom. It's an insightful single about the justice system and the trials and tribulations Boosie went through both while imprisoned and through the court case."

Since emerging from the Louisiana underground in 1997, Boosie Badazz has become one of the most significant presences in hip-hop. The Baton Rouge native first lit up the underground at just 17 and soon teamed with Trill Entertainment to unleash a series of undisputed classics, including 2003's GHETTO STORIES and 2004's GANGSTA MUSIK (both with longtime collaborator Webbie), and 2009's top 10 breakthrough, SUPERBAD: THE RETURN OF BOOSIE BADAZZ. His fifth solo album, 2010's INCARCERATED, was recorded and released while serving a 96-month prison sentence at Angola Louisiana State Penitentiary. The album earned widespread acclaim, with SPIN hailing it as "an enormously heartfelt album that makes his legal plight even more of a feel-bad story." Released in March 2014 after serving a reduced sentence of 52 months, Boosie truly became a mainstream force with TOUCH DOWN 2 CAUSE HELL, fueled by such hits as "No Juice" and "Like A Man (Feat. Rich Homie Quan)."

Boosie Badazz continues to expand and grow his brand beyond music. His other ventures include Rap Snacks: The Official Snack of Hip Hop, Boosie Juice and Jewel House Brand: The Official Lil Boosie Collection to name a few. He also made a big screen debut in the acclaimed 2017 drama, Glass Jaw.
