Stage and screen regular Tom Hiddleston has confirmed that the next character he will essay after completing work on the new AVENGERS universe franchise entry, THOR 2: THE DARK WORLD, will be none other than famed war photographer Robert Capa in a new biopic, CAPA.

Hiddleston remarks, "I look at [his] life and see it in heroic terms."

He continues, "A Hungarian kicked out of Hungary for writing against Fascism, he moved to Germany where he was kicked out for being Jewish, then he moved to France and from there began a life-long commitment to make a stand against forces of Fascism."

Hiddleston adds, "As a man he was fantastically charismatic, dynamic, vigorous, exciting and energetic, too."

Yet, how will the accomplished actor, celebrated for his stupendous work as Prince Hal in a recent BBC HENRY IV, prepare for the role of a visual artist with an eye for design?

Hiddleston reveals, "I plan to go to the places he lived, those places he visited, read books about him, study his photographs and, crucially, learn how he took them."

CAPA is expected to shoot sometime this year, with Paul Andrew Williams directing.

Of special note, the film was originally announced to star another thespian known for his superhero skills, Andrew Garfield.
