Video: 'Glory' from PIPPIN at Signature Theatre

The Stephen Schwartz musical runs through July 26, 2026 at Signature Theatre.

Signature Theatre has shared a new video featuring Cedric Neal performing "Glory" from its current production of PIPPIN, offering audiences a glimpse of one of Stephen Schwartz's most rousing numbers as staged in the company's intimate MAX Theatre space.

PIPPIN is a musical by Stephen Schwartz, the composer and lyricist behind GODSPELL and WICKED, following Pippin, the restless heir of Charlemagne, as he pursues purpose and greatness through war, passion, and disillusionment. The show blends sardonic wit with spectacle, built around a traveling troupe of performers who frame the young prince's coming-of-age journey as a theatrical extravaganza complete with iconic songs including "Corner of the Sky" and "Magic to Do."

The Signature Theatre production is directed by Matthew Gardiner and choreographed by Rachel Leigh Dolan, with music direction by Jon Kalbfleisch. Neal leads the cast as the Leading Player, the charismatic ringmaster guiding Pippin through his quest. The production runs through July 26, 2026, with tickets available at sigtheatre.org.

BroadwayWorld has followed this production closely since it opened, including a review calling Matthew Gardiner's staging a production that "surpasses even the highest of expectations," as well as earlier video coverage of Brayden Bambino performing "Corner of the Sky."
