Hershey Symphony Orchestra kicks off its 2014-2015 season with Piano Men: The Music of Elton John and Billy Joel on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 8 p.m. at the Hershey Theatre.

New England's Joe Boucher and his four-piece rock band and Hershey Symphony's Paul Metzger on the drums will join the orchestra to perform some of Elton John and Billy Joel's biggest hits. Featured songs include "New York State of Mind," "Tiny Dancer," "Rocket Man," "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant" and other popular songs from the last 40 years.

"These are not elevator-music arrangements of soft rock hits - this is a rock concert featuring a grand piano and a very electric band in front of the full orchestra. It's an once-in-a-lifetime chance to sing along to 'Piano Man' with a rock band, a 60-piece orchestra and 1,500 friends," said Metzger, who is executive director of the Hershey Symphony Orchestra.

Tickets may be purchased online at www.HersheyTheatre.com or by calling the Hershey Theatre Box office at 717.534.3405. Season tickets are also available at www.HersheySymphony.org. All seats are reserved.
