Daniil Trifonov to Perform at Jerome L. Greene Performance Space, 11/9

In advance of his spotlighted appearances in Rachmaninoff: A Philharmonic Festival, pianist Daniil Trifonov will perform arecital at The Jerome L. Greene Performance Space, November 9, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. The event will be hosted by WQXR's Annie Bergen and video webcast live at wqxr.org.
Daniil Trifonov and his teacher, pianist Sergei Babayan, will perform Rachmaninoff's Suite No. 2 for Two Pianos, Op. 17, and Mr. Trifonov will perform his own Rachmaninoff-inspired composition, Rachmaniana, recently released by Deutsche Grammophon. Daniil Trifonov's November 12 New York Philharmonic appearance - featuring Rachmaninoff's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, Piano Concerto No. 2, and The Isle of the Dead, led by Cristian M?celaru - will be broadcast live by WQXR at 105.9 FM and streamed online at wqxr.org at 7:30 p.m. EST.Videos
