The Colorado Symphony has announced Colorado Symphony Presents, a new series of performances by world-class contemporary artists launching at Boettcher Concert Hall in November.

With seven concerts scheduled for the 2014/15 season, Colorado Symphony Presents spans an eclectic range of musical styles and genres, from the beginnings of jazz to its modern edge, folk, reggae, even the mind-expanding fusions of Frank Zappa. Though the sounds differ from concert to concert, the offerings are linked by excellence, creativity and originality: Expect some thrilling collaboration between visiting artists and musicians of the Colorado Symphony. Please note the full orchestra will not perform as part of this new series.

"From Preservation Hall Jazz Band to Chick Corea and Herbie Hancock, Colorado Symphony Presents showcases some of the most exciting contemporary artists from every walk of life, while inviting a wide audience to engage with the Colorado Symphony and enjoy Boettcher Concert Hall," says Anthony Pierce, Senior Vice President of Program Innovation. "We look forward to seeing new faces here, and to demonstrating that we're here to serve music lovers of all kinds. We're curators of great music, and the programs in this series definitely fit the bill."

All Colorado Symphony Presents performances take place on stage at Boettcher Concert Hall, home of the Colorado Symphony for 36 years. As the only in-the-round concert venue in Denver, Boettcher Concert Hall provides a unique and intimate concert-going experience. Colorado Symphony Presents is supported by KUVO Jazz/KVJZ 89.3 FM.

A complimentary cocktail is included with every ticket purchase to those age 21 and up. New this season, patrons may bring cocktails into Boettcher Concert Hall for any concert.

Tickets are available by phone at 303-623-7876, online at www.coloradosymphony.org, or through the box office in Boettcher Concert Hall, located at 1000 14th Street, in the Denver Performing Arts Complex in downtown Denver.
