BWW Previews: VLAD GARIC: THE DALMATIAN TENOR at The Secret Theater

"An evening with the Dalmatian Tenor" Vlad Garic. One of the greatest acapella vocal ensembles in the world is the legendary Klapa Cambi of Split, Croatia. They have toured the world leaving crowds astonished with the magical blend of traditional and modern music, all delivered in stunning 10-part Dalmatian harmony. If you have never heard Klapa music - you have not hear music. It is life-changing.

The lead singer with the world-renown accapella group Klapa Cambi will be making his American debut this weekend. For years Vlad Garic has been the lead tenor in the group, but this weekend he takes center stage in his American debut concerts!

The show: The Dalmatian Tenor, It is an intimate musical experience that covers Garic's entire career from an operatic tenor, a traditional Dalmatian Klapa tenor, to a rock guitar player. Garic will perform March 14-17th 2019 at The Secret Theatre, 4402 23rd Street, Lond Island City.

Born in Split, Croatia, Vladimir began musical career as a classically trained pianist. Soon after, rock guitar took over his musical life and led him to playing lead guitar and singing vocals in local bands. His unique voice guided him to the traditional Dalmatian Klapa (a cappella) singing. Being a Klapa lead tenor paved the way for the opera career.

The evening promises to be an eclectic blend of old and new music ranging across his many diverse musical styles.
