The Water Grove Sanitarium has stood in the shadows of Avery for forty years. It has stood a testament of increment weather and the test of time. "A Water Grove Journal" is about a journal that was found buried with its corners seared and blackened, in the remains of the complex as police and fire officials combed the interior husk and surrounding gardens in a desperate search for a reason or suspect. This is the only account ever found, and to this day, it remains a mystery to the town of Avery as to why the sanitarium disappeared almost overnight, despite the obvious fact that was pointed out, what the journal contained was only the lead up to its ultimate demise. What happened that night would, and forever, continues to mystify the country.

This book follows Sebastian Green who has been institutionalized and who must accept his short falls whilst learning to adapt to his new surroundings with a constructive and open embrace. The other side of this story is about Laura Bell, who despite having all the freedom she could want, realizes that the one she craves is a clear understanding of who she really is and what she really wants.

The life inside an institution is not as glorified as made out to be. What people do not understand, or rarely see, is that the worst part of this particular type of experience is not the frightening people around them, but more the internal struggles that are faced. Whether they are psychological or physical, the hardest part was being generally so sedated that one is really a prisoner within one's own mind. That in turn, lead to boredom and loneliness. In today's day and age, a person who suffers from a psychological disease is so overlooked at what they are capable of. Despite the good intentions and well caring hands, people seem to forget that most of these people have accomplished so much in their short lives but are stuffed in a room so medicated, they cannot talk, they cannot think, they can only wait.

Sebastin Green was born in the small community of Mornington and grew up in Frankston, Victoria. After completing high school, he found employment in the construction industry, to help assist his family and watch over his brother. Since then, he has focused on his writing and finally found the courage, putting pen to paper and become the budding author he now is to this day.
