Peter Cannon has attempted feats others only dream of doing. At one point, his own dreams including sailing for months at a time. 64 careers later, the author details his experiences in his new book, "Second Arc of the Great Circle: Letting Go."

Cannon's life, like all others, has been filled with triumphs and tribulations. In some instances, readers may be inspired to follow in his footsteps, while in others may be thankful to be reading about the experience rather than living it.

Why change careers so many times? Why travel around the world chasing dreams? Cannon's answer is simple: "It beat the heck out of a cubicle."

The second installment of Cannon's life story begins in Florida, travels around the world and ends with a simple message: let go.

Cannon has found meaning in his adventures for years, but knows not everyone has gotten to this point in his or her own life. His story of learning about love, finding forever friends and seeking salvation serves as inspiration for readers.
