Roy a photographer of John Lennon has just launched a project to publish the book JOHN LENNON'S GIVE PEACE A CHANCE the book. The project is currently on kickstarter.com. The book will be released on June 1 st this year to commemorate the 45 th year since the event took place.

Taken in 1969 these 40 exquisite photographs show a unique perspective of the recording of one of the world's most recognized peace songs. The song GIVE PEACE A CHANCE by John Lennon was recorded over a three-day period in the hotel Queen Elizabeth, in Montreal in room 1752- 1754 on June 1, 1969. This book recounts the events surrounding the recording, the people that Roy Kerwood met there and some stories that nobody knows except Roy, John and Yoko because they were the only three people in the room. Interesting things happened in those rooms when there were no cameras around and I was fortunate enough to be in the rooms with no cameras, but my own, there were some flickering candles as well as John Lennon and Yoko Ono, Timothy Leary, and Rosemary Leary, Derek Taylor, Tommy Smothers, myself tripping on LSD.

Roy Kerwood tells how truly upset and un-nerved Yoko really was and the very special thing he did to calm her down.

What JOHN LENNON really thought about Al Capp and how John Lennon vented his anger at Al Capp.

Signed numbered collectors editions are available as rewards on my kickstarter.com http://kck.st/KQJtKP.There will be only 500 Collector's 1 st edition leather bound copies, ever to be printed and only available to backers. John Lennon memorabilia is very collectible.

Images are available.
