Bronxville, NY

From eleven-year-old author Maya Engenheiro comes a fascinating read for a debut as she plays on themes of courage and determination in "I Will Survive" (published by Xlibris). A simple story of man's determination to survive as told by a child makes for an intriguing and captivating read.

Joanne, Russel, Jade and Jake are just the typical miners you would expect on a mining expedition, but not this mission. The four miners' goals are to go Peru to discover the rare ruby diamond, a gem discovered in ancient times by mountain men and has never been found since. When the foursome reaches Peru, they find the unusual mine. There, this story's heroes are met with an occurrence they had not expected. It seems like nature or an entirely different force does not want them to lay their hands on the famed mineral. Will they make it out of the place alive?

Readers are invited to find out as they bury themselves within the delightful pages of this new offer, resonating man's resolve to get out of a situation alive, with the words, "I Will Survive."
