A.E. Wasserman's richly atmospheric novel "1884 No Boundaries: A Story of Espionage, and International Intrigue" (published by Archway Publishing) opens in London with a bored Lord Langsford welcoming his German friend, Heinrich, to the pleasantries of Victorian society.

At Leadenhall Market (wonderfully evoked by Wasserman, as indeed are all the book's famous locations) the two meet Anna. Heinrich unexpectedly falls in love and their romance becomes a catalyst for events in the trio's lives, exposing spies and international terrorists. Wasserman very effectively combines an Anthony Trollope-style star-crossed love story with far more complex elements of international intrigue involving an assassination plot - a plot that naturally reaches out to ensnarl our heroes, allowing this multi-level plot to barrel along.

Praise for "1884 No Boundaries":

"A.E. Wasserman has woven a complex plot in this well-crafted story. Adept at historical scenes and place descriptions, she is quite masterful at handling voices and dialects, adding to the excitement."

- Chuck Sambuchino, Best-selling author of "How to Survive a Garden Gnome Attack"
