He also added, "Due to issues experienced in March 2018 with our online entry system for competition submissions of various books, we felt the extension of the submission deadline was in order."

The second annual PenCraft Award competition is opened to all books written in the English Language with an ISBN and published between 2015 and October 1, 2018. All books reviewed by the staff at AuthorsReading.com during the stated period will also be considered for a 2018 PenCraft Award.

2.    Originality (30%): Originality in concept and execution is a primary consideration in selecting finalists. Finalist titles should demonstrate innovative artistic qualities, which in many cases will be specific to their genre or category.
3.    Audience Appeal (20%): A PenCraft Award-winning book should have strong appeal to its target audience. Books are judged on their effectiveness in engaging their particular readership.
