About the Author
In 1975, leading up to the birth of her fourth and youngest daughter, Mary Llewellyn learned self-hypnosis to prepare for labor. Feeling empowered, Llewellyn studied psychology and, five years later, opened her full-time hypnotherapy and psychotherapy practice in the U.K. In 1990, she completed her psychology training, together with a postgraduate advanced diploma in child development. Since then she has learned EFT and other energy psychology techniques. Llewellyn and her partner have used self-hypnosis and EFT to help many people, from pregnant women to athletes. She has also published a diary about her experience being diagnosed with breast cancer entitled "My Emotional Journey Through Cancer."
