Yesterday, Bloomsbury UK published its Quarterly Trading Update, which mentioned,

The 20th anniversary of Bloomsbury's first publication of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone was celebrated on 26 June 2017. Two new books are being published in October with the British Library to accompany their Harry Potter exhibition. They are Harry Potter: A History of Magic - The Book of The Exhibition which takes readers on a journey through the subjects studied at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and Harry Potter - A Journey Through A History of Magic, the history of magic, from alchemy to unicorns, ancient witchcraft to Hogwarts.

The books won't be created by J.K. Rowling, but by the British Library for its exhibition coming this fall in honor of the 20th Anniversary of the series. Harry Potter: A History of Magic will be exhibited at the British Library from October 20, 2017 to February 28, 2018. You can book tickets now.

The exhibit promises to:

Journey to where magic and myth began

Have you ever wanted to delve into Divination, ponder the peculiarities of Potions and discover enchanting creatures? Now you can.

We unveil rare books, manuscripts and magical objects from the British Library's collection, capturing the traditions of folklore and magic which are at the heart of the Harry Potter stories. Marvel at original drafts and drawings by J.K. Rowling and illustrator Jim Kay, both on display for the first time.

See the gargantuan 16th-century Ripley Scroll that explains how to create a Philosopher's Stone. Gaze at Sirius in the night sky as imagined by medieval astronomers. Encounter hand-coloured pictures of dragons, unicorns and a phoenix rising from the flames.

Celebrate the 20th anniversary of the publication of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stonewith this extraordinary new addition to J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World.

At the time, it is unknown whether or not US Publisher Scholastic Books will release the titles in the US, or whether fans will have to import them from sites such as Book Depository as they currently must for the 20th Anniversary House Editions of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
