Author Matt D. Talford Releases Award-Winning Memoir: 'From Fear to Faith: A Survivor's Story,' on Audiobook

ROCK HILL, S.C., July 18, 2018 /PRNewswire/  "From Fear to Faith: A Survivor's Story", winner of the 2017 Book Excellence Award for Best New Non-fiction, is available now in audiobook format!  Talford calls it "one of the most inspiring, provocative and entertaining books you will ever read."  The book, previously only available in paperback (, the author's, Park Road Books-Charlotte, N.C.), and in eBook format  (Kindle & iBooks), can now be experienced while working, on-the-go, or in the comfort of your favorite chair.  Narrated by the author himself in his signature, warm, baritone voice, Talford invites listeners to "sit back and immerse themselves in a story so alive and full of detail, they may feel as if they were there to witness it!"

From Fear to Faith: A Survivor's Story, is the story of a young man coming to grips with a declining physical condition, followed by a diagnosis for which the numbers were not favorable.  Written in a style that had one reader comment, "I thought I was reading a novel," Talford says he wanted to entertain the reader while illustrating through multiple examples, that any problem can be overcome with a positive attitude, the right tools and a good game plan.  "Winning begins with believing that you can.  The problem with cancer is that far too many stories of sad endings are being told.  If you never hear of someone defeating such a formidable foe, how will you ever think you can?  Somebody has to kick off a new trend.  If just one person reads or listens to this story and turns their life around for the better, what I went through was all worth it!"

The audiobook version of "From Fear to Faith: A Survivor's Story" is currently available at the following sites (and others where audiobooks are sold):, Audible,, Downpour, eStories, Google Play, iTunes, LibroFM, Nook, Scribd.  For a free sample, visit
