Margaret M. Peiffer's students love rainbows. In "Rainbow Love" (published by Trafford Publishing), Peiffer answers children's questions about rainbows and helps to satisfy childhood curiosity. When she reads and discusses the book, she uses many themes of the story to acquaint young children with a story from the Old Testament.

The book is the story of the rainbow and God's promise, color in the world and friendship between a chipmunk and a squirrel. Peiffer believes that the book is a good way to explain fairness, friendship, God's promise of love and the importance of loving God and neighbor. The purpose of the book is to help the children understand the importance of following God's commands.

With "Rainbow Love," the author wants readers to be aware of God's promise and the beauty of color and friendships as an example of how they should live their lives.
