The New England Center for the Performing Arts will hold the 3rd annual "Swing for the Center" Golf Tournament on Monday, September 26th at the Franklin Country Club at 672 East Central St. in Franklin. Registration for the tournament begins at 9:00 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m.

"Swing for the Center" will raise funds to fuel the development of the New England Center for the Performing Arts and is one way for members of the community to help raise the curtain on opening night. The new performing arts complex will house both the Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA) and Franklin Performing Arts Company (FPAC) currently located at 38 Main Street. Its mission is to educate, entertain, and enhance the cultural life of our region.

Guy Rezendes of Franklin is the Golf Tournament Chairman. The event will feature a full day of golf, buffet dinner, awards, raffle, and musical entertainment. Friends and family who don't wish to golf are welcome to attend for dinner and entertainment.

Entry fee is $175 per golfer or $650 per foursome and includes greens fees, cart, golf, shirt, dinner buffet, and entertainment. For tickets or sponsorship information, please contact Alan Mercer at (508) 528-8668, stop by the FSPA Office at 38 Main Street or visit www.necpaonline.com.
