Neil McGarry's stunning one-man performance of Charles Dickens' A CHRISTMAS CAROL this holiday season is currently thrilling audiences across southeastern New England. An award-winner for "Best Solo Performance of 2014" from the Independent Reviewers of New England (IRNE) and named "Best of Boston" in 2013 by critic Jules Becker, McGarry's solo interpretation of the revered holiday classic is nothing short of awe-inspiring.

Using only Charles Dickens' original text, McGarry delivers a riveting performance, portraying each and every character with full engagement and somehow making audiences believe they're watching an entire company of players. Fully staged, complete with dancing, this one-man tour de force leaves critics and audiences alike laughing and crying with joy. Both moving and entertaining, the result is something much richer than expected and well worth the time and ticket price. McGarry single-handedly brings the spirit of the season to life in this magical one-person performance.

He has worked on stages throughout the country such as New York Classical Theatre, Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre, the LA based Excalibur Theatre Company, the Lyric Stage Co. of Boston, Cape Rep Theatre and for ten years was a company member at the Publick Theatre. McGarry has also appeared in films such as Frank the Bastard, Edge of Darkness, The Proposal, Killing Dinner, Fall Apart, Absent Father, Bust, Stranger, and Stuff Stephanie in the Incinerator. His television credits include PBS/American Experience: Alexander Hamilton, ABC TV's All My Children, and Showtime's Brotherhood.

A Cape Cod native based in Marshfield, McGarry and his troupe, The Bay Colony Shakespeare Company are touring their award-winning production of the Dickens favorite for the third holiday season in a row at various performance spaces in December. It is a unique experience not to be missed.
