Idaho Shakespeare Festival presents THE WOMAN IN BLACK, September 3 - September 26 The smash hit of London's West End for more than 20 years, The Woman in Black is a not-to-miss for a fall evening at the Festival. Bring your friends for an electrifying and spine-chilling tale in the footsteps of the classic ghost story. Arthur Kipps is deeply troubled by his past. As a junior solicitor, he was summoned to attend to the final affairs of an elderly widow who lived alone in the desolate and secluded Eel Marsh House-a house still filled with uneasy secrets, a house whose associates do not rest in peace. Will Arthur be able to prevent further misfortune?

Idaho Falls Arts Council hosts Battle of the Bands 2010 as part of the Snake River Roaring Youth Jam on August 14th, from 3PM to 10PM at the Civitan's Plaza, on the corner of B and Shoup. As many as 15 bands will compete for their share of over $2000 in prizes. There is a $50 entry fee per band or a $100 business sponsorship. All band members must be 21 or younger. The Morrison Center will be presenting several events throughout the 2010-2011 Season. It is located on 1910 University Drive, Boise, Idaho, 83725. Arrive early to make your experience more enjoyable. A new parking fee and campus construction projects may cause parking delays this season. Patrons are encouraged to arrive at least one half hour prior to show time, especially if your tickets are in will-call.

In 1997 the Morrison Center partnered with a Utah-based agency in order to present top-notch entertainment in Boise. Since that time, the Treasure Valley has enjoyed productions such as: Jesus Christ Superstar; the first National tour of Miss Saigon; Annie; Cats; Chicago; Rent; and the international mega hit Mamma Mia!. Other notable events stemming from this collaboration include: David Copperfield; Bill Cosby; Kurt Bestor; and Hal Holbrook's Mark Twain.
