Very sad to hear Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac passed away the other day at the age of 79. She had such a beautiful voice, was an excellent songwriter and was a pretty good musician. She seemed to be the one in the group that could get along with everyone, including her ex-husband, John McVie. It is kind of funny how a car commercial using her song "Everywhere" gave her some publicity recently.

Outside of the group, I really enjoyed the Buckingham/McVie album and her song "Carnival Begin" was one of my favorites. I guess she will mostly be remembered for writing "You Make Loving Fun" from "Rumours" but I thought "Oh Daddy" was just as good. I know most guys thought Stevie Nicks was the sexy female in the group, but IMO Christine McVie was not bad on the eyes either. True to her personality, she passed away quietly with most of the world having no idea she was ill. RIP Christine McVie.

I grew up with Christine and Fleetwood Mac. Love their music, and I love both Christine and Stevie. Classic. No one makes music like that anymore. RIP Songbird.
