Maryland Ensemble Theatre (MET) will present the Comedy Pigs fall schedule of shows for their 19th season on the MET stage. The Pigs will appear just 4 more times at MET in 2011 with 3 late night shows and just one prime time slot. Tickets are available marylandensemble.org, by phone at (301) 694-4744 or in person at the MET box office.
The current Comedy Pigs troupe (Tres Dillon, Courtney McLaughlin, Franky Orr, Anne Raugh, Jeff Schnorr, Thomas Scholtes & Laura Stark) opened their 19th season at the MET on September 17th with a late night show following MET's production of Why Torture Is Wrong and The People Who Love Them and they follow the dark comedy from Christopher Durang again this Saturday the 24th with a 10:30pm show. The regular ticket price for the Comedy Pigs is $12 but audience who attend the mainstage show can get in for half price by presenting their ticket stub when purchasing tickets. This fall comedy lovers will be able to user their ticket stubs from the David Mamet classic American Buffalo to get half priced tickets to the Comedy Pigs performances on November 5th and 12th at 10:30pm. If 10:30pm is too late for you then you only have one chance to catch the Pigs in prime-time. On October 15th the Comedy Pigs will perform at 9pm on the MET stage. This is a change to the originally announced schedule but it was the only chance for the Pigs to play an earlier show and as long-time Comedy Pig Anne Raugh says, "Sometimes you have stuff to do early in the morning."Videos
